- JEWELLERY CARE
3.1 LOOKING AFTER YOUR JEWELLERY
Many factors can influence the condition of jewellery. Therefore you should make sure that your jewellery is properly cleaned, repaired and stored. Take care to avoid extreme humidity or heat as this may cause tarnishing. This will keep them looking their best.
Please follow these steps to ensure your beautiful jewellery lasts a lifetime.
Plated Jewellery will naturally tarnish over time. Always protect your jewellery from knocks, scratches, chemicals, sunlight and heat/cold to minimise these effects.
- We recommend removing jewellery when you shower or bathe and particularly when on the beach, in the sea and in chlorinated water.
- Avoid spraying perfume or applying creams directly onto your jewellery.
- Keep away from extreme temperatures, humidity and sunlight, and avoid wearing your jewellery when using bleach.
To protect your jewellery, pieces should be individually placed in a pouch or within a soft lined box to stop them being scratched or tangled. Ideally store your jewellery in a dark, cool and dry place, and try to keep pieces apart, so that they don’t rub together or tangle up.
Using soft, lint free cloth is an effective way to keep silver and 18K jewellery looking shiny and lustrous. A silver cleaner can also be used to clean sterling silver pieces. Please store silver pieces in an airtight bag to help reduce tarnishing. Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean metal as they can cause scratching.
Gemstones & Crystals –
Since many gemstones are quite delicate, hot water, harsh chemicals and cleaners should be avoided at all times. We advise cleaning your precious stones with a clean, soft, damp cloth after wearing. Very porous stones such as turquoise and emeralds should be cleaned using an untreated, dry, soft cloth only. Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean gemstones as they can cause scratching.
- PRODUCTS SIZE , COLOUR & PACKAGING .
Please allow slight dimension difference due to different manual measurement. Products shown will not be actual size, where available approximate measurements are provided.
Due to the light and screen setting difference, the item’s colour may be slightly different from the pictures.
We reserve the right to amend the details and specifications of our products as necessary at any time.
We try to ensure that our website description is as accurate as possible, however, we cannot be held responsible for any inaccuracies or errors beyond our control.
All items will be supplied in our own packaging or branded packaging from suppliers. Where items are from deal sites no brand packaging is available but you will receive the item in velvet pouch or a gift bag depending on the item and stock availability.
- CANCELLING AN ORDER PLACED
If, after placing, you wish to cancel your order you can do so at any time prior to it being dispatched.
If you do wish to cancel your order you will need to contact us within 24 hours via email to email@example.com. You will need to quote your postcode and confirm your name and product name.
Unfortunately if your order has already been dispatched before you contact us then you will be unable to cancel it and will have to return it for a refund (see our returns policy for details).
We will endeavour to meet any given date for delivery however we cannot be held responsible for any delays beyond our control. Although we are able to ship almost every order in the specified delivery timescale, in rare circumstances our shipping capacity can be exceeded and cause a delay. We regret that this situation can occur occasionally or in extreme busy periods ( i-e Christmas & New year ) , should this occur, your order will be dispatched on priority. If we are unable to make the expected delivery date we shall inform you by email as soon as possible.
The other circumstance which may cause a delay is when the delivery service itself has a problem. This, again, is a rare situation but is unfortunately beyond our control. In these situations, we will do our very best to find a best solution depending on the nature of issue and ensure that your order is delivered as quickly as possible.
If a delivery is late, e.g. the postal service fails to deliver within the guaranteed timescale, then we will not be responsible for it, we do not provide financial compensation to cover consequential losses, e.g. Time taken off work to receive deliveries, or the item is intended as a gift, and you purchase the same item from a more expensive retailer and so on.
PRODUCT GUARANTEE POLICY
All our jewellery items will be plated with either of the following: 18 Carat Gold, 925 Sterling Silver or Rhodium. All Plated jewellery is guaranteed for 12 months from original purchase date (under normal conditions of wear and tear). This guarantee excludes the item purchased from the Deal sites.
Most of our Jewellery is Nickle free but still it may contain Nickle (well below the Nickel Safety Regulations). If you suffer from any metal allergies we recommend that you wear the piece in smaller periods of time to keep any reaction at a minimum. All our pieces are plated several times with the precious metals to avoid any reactions or allergies however some skin types can be very sensitive, if you know that you have very sensitive skin or the person you are purchasing the piece for has very sensitive skin we recommend you do not purchase any jewellery that is plated with precious metals and only purchase solid gold/silver jewellery.
Should you experience any reactions, we will not accept any responsibility and unfortunately we cannot offer a refund.
